"Jo-Anne and I have only worked together once when I was in Tasmania about 3yrs ago.
We only had one rehearsal for a concert in Hobart and I remember being very impressed that she had prepared all the pieces so thoroughly.
This meant that we were able to rehearse most pieces with a minimal amount of time needed for repeating them during the rehearsal.
This combined with her excellent command and experience at the piano enabled her to support and anticipate what I wanted to do during the performance.
As a result this gave me the security to be able to interpret freely while singing.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Jo-Anne to anyone looking for a pianist to work with at a professional level."

"Wirripang was first introduced to Jo-Anne at the 2015 Australasian Piano Pedagogy Conference, where she presented her first formal lecture-recital on the Australian performer, composer, and pedagogue, Miriam Hyde.
Jo-Anne displayed excellence in her research as well as her informative and engaging presentation.
Since this encounter, Wirripang was fortunate to have Jo-Anne included as one of its representatives at the 2019 Australasian Piano Pedagogy Conference.
It is hoped this collaboration continues into the future."

"As a conductor, it has been a pleasure to work with Jo-Anne Kemp as an accompanist in rehearsals and performances over the years.
She has an innate musicality, a stylish interpretation across various genres and is someone who has the rare ability to “second guess” a conductor’s strategies and interpretation when in rehearsal.
Jo-Anne is a sympathetic accompanist and brings a wealth of musical experience to any performance situation."
